what does PeT mean

And Bruce Irvings go play in space.

Airforce_Master_101 - Take it slowly, One step at a time. For example, my first 6 months in Orbiter was learning the very basics. I didn't even start working on buildin a space station until I'd be playing orbiter for 18 months. It's a very steep learning curve.

You will get help from the people here but only if you try first. For example, Asking what PeT means won't help as it's explained in the manual and on other sites.

i am the typy of person who learns faster be asking than read from a doc

i looked through the doc and did not find anything useful on PeT

Ok then - Page 57 - PeT - time to periapsis passage

Sorry, then Orbiter may not be for you. Same thing is true for spaceflight in general.

This is the kind of subject that do require alot of reading on your part. Not asking 400 000 small questions.

Read "Go Play In Space". From START TO END, IN FULL AND IN ORDER.

Sorry for the bold and caps, but I need that to get through to you.

It will take you a while. It took me a while. To be honest, I haven't even finished it.

And, btw, there is no difference between reading the manual and having someone explain it to you here. None at all.

EDIT: Drat, Dave, you posted while I did!

ok then

well my station is looking good.
now I need to put solar panels on it.
will Go Play In Space teach me how to deorbit?

so from what i have read in order to have a stable orbit my PeR/PeA/PeT can not be a - number or i will crash right

Why don't you jump into Orbiter and test that theory yourself?

Learn by doing...

Which is both the most frustrating and the most rewarding part of Orbiter.

Airforce_master - do you know what each of those numbers mean and why they are important to determining your orbit? Have you ever reached a stable orbit in Orbiter yet?

well i think itis a stable orbit i did what Go Play In Space said to do which was to fire the main engines when my ApT was at 60 which i did raising my PeT

I think your talking about positive and negative numbers right?

yes having a positive PeA is rather handy ;)
that is what i am talking about thank you
