I have the same issue Donamy's reporting - it looks like the attachments have been screwed up.

The problem is that the orientation of the ET mesh has changed; the old mesh had the ET pointed along the z-axis (which is the 'standard' orientation, I think), while the new version has the long axis of the ET along the y-axis in Orbiter. I can change the attachment point values to work with the new mesh, or the mesh can be rotated to the old direction.

Try the new meshes I checked in. Given that I'm not experiencing these problems, these new meshes should fix the problem.
 
Donamy, do you think you could try to make solid heat shield mesh? This temporary mesh is just shuttle belly cut out and scaled to be slightly larger. I wonder if these "drawings" are correctly describing maximum heating. Just for reference. However, DaveS has good TPS photo taken during STS-129 re-entry, so it may be usable.

Just a note: The second image is of the orbiter during TAEM. And the tiles aren't glowing, they're reflecting the early morning sun-light. Based on the date/time-stamp, I would say that it is of the STS-121 landing on July 17 2006 at 9:15am EDT.

Don't know. Rev. 1140 has all the ET meshes rotated correctly. Are you sure that you have the rev. 1139 and 1140 meshes? Rev. 1140 fixes a slight texture bug on the SLWT mesh aft LH2 tank dome.

I can't fix it as there's nothing wrong! I can't reproduce the problem at all. As you can see in the screenshot, the ET is fine. The only conclusion I can draw is that there's something wrong on your end as mine is fine.

Ok renaming 'SLWT.msh.r1140' to 'SLWT.msh' and the new .dll fixed the problem with the ET, but the Launch pad is still screwed up. Do I need to rename something else for that to work ?

OK good. The problem with the pad is probably that the mesh-group numbers are different between the module and the mesh/es.

Which version of the pad is being used? The modern one or the 1980's version?

Does the FSS have a large crane on top it? And a yellow structure on the platform in between the FSS and RSS?

Updated pad sources have been checked that fixes the reported animation problems.

The burnt ET doesn't seem to be working again.
Checked in a new set of ET meshes that should fix this problem.
