Conspirators equal fail. They are all idiots - if you look on the comments section of the Mythbusters results page, you can see that they are posting things like "Who was holding the camera when Neil exited the lunar module?"

If there is a big enough set to allow a lunar lander to descend towards and land, as the films taken from inside show it doing, then I would like to see it. If you argue that it was computer generated, I doubt something as seamless as the returned landing films would come from the 60s.

They claim that NASA and the US Government expertly and cleverly masterminded an extremely complicated hoax involving up to half a million people (depending on the version) that has lasted for 40 years and still has the majority of people around the world fooled, but just happened to forget that there wouldn't be someone waiting on the moon with a video camera to capture Neil's first steps...

no. when they got to a high enough altitude they landed on top to the ozone (its solid, thats why you cant see through it during the day). they found a tiny hole and flew through it. then the pilots got out and painted heat damage on everything. after that they flew back through the hole in the ozone and fell back to earth.

I saw STS-118 also. For anyone who believes that it's a fake, my wife actually managed to snap a picture at SRB sep. Not a fake.

It'd be so much more expensive to fake the moon landing and a shuttle program than to actually DO both. I really think this might be preaching to the choir, though.
