It appears to be the same times that yours was.
 
Less convenient for the UK and Europe, but you can't please veryone. Good luck with the show, if I'm still up I'll tune in.

On a general note regarding this project, what's the deal with music on such a radio... I'm assuming broadcasting laws still have to be followed with regards to music licence and whatnot...?

Fair use? Hardly. Unless all the music played is licenced, you may run into trouble.

May I suggest picking musics from, say, soundcloud? Or from not-so-known bands? This should make issues from licencing easier to deal with or even nonexistant.
 
We are also only broadcasting to a small group of people, as opposed to running a large internet radio. No one would be on except for O-F members. I don't see how it's any issue. Also, for my show next week, is scheduled earlier in the day, so that would be nicer for European members etc.

I wondered why this hadn't been brought up earlier...
But, I want to listen and the RIAA can suck it anyways. lol
 
Radio just when live, and will be up for the next three or so hours. So tune in and make requests and such. :)

I have looked into this, and I'm still not 100% as to the legalities. However the server company appear to offer some kind of license coverage included with the rental fee, so I think we're covered.

Pablo49 is now back up after some minor technical difficulties. :)

Welcome to another new DJ, Lambo, who will be taking up the streams after Pablo49's show and filling them with another hour and a half of music. :)
 
Passing of the shows went cleanly, and totally made the station feel like a real radio station. Thanks for everyone who tuned into Monxcleyr tonight. :)
 
Indeed, a nice smooth handover and a good night of radio.

I've told winamp to stream from basically a shuffled MEGAPLAYLIST (Everything in my library) between shows now, so even if there's no show at the time, people can connect and at least have music.

Hehe, I think the most embarrasing stuff is either the Chris de Burgh or the Avril Lavigne, aye. I blame the female presence in my life for such music, that's my story and I'm sticking with it. ;)

In other news, if anyone fancies tuning in, I'll probably throw the radio open for requests in a kind of mad, slapdash half-baked radio show in about an hour's time (18:00 BST).
 
I am, yours (If it was you who submitted the one I just received) will be the first song of the show.

My Ravenstar's speakers are playing Orbiter Radio to the MAX!

I'm doing some "hot-dogging" (check out the vids in the Orbiter Video thread) aroung WIN and the show has been very inspirational! :thumbup:

Today's show is "shredding" man!!!

Re-entering an XR5 over Europe when... "welcome to the Jungle" started playing... so i said to myself "@$%! it... let's go for Kongo!"

Crash-landed somewhere in the jungle! :D

A side note:
The volume while the music is playing is just fine, but when you are talking, i have to turn it up all the way.
