I recently tried the newly-released Deepstar add-on. I like it a lot, but I can't get RCS to work right. The prograde / retrograde / normal / antinormal / killrot autopilot functions work. The autoburn function in IMFD works. However I can't use RCS manually in either rotational or translational mode. This is true of the landers and of Deepstar itself.

I've tried a fresh Orbiter 2006P1 installation with the only add-ons being Deepstar, Absolute Killrot, and IMFD. (I consider those last two must-haves.) Same thing.

Use L-SHIFT NUMPAD-*.

Yes, that did it. And then after that, L-CONTROL L-SHIFT NUMPAD-/ turns RCS on and off as usual. I've never had to do that before.
It was also in the readme file. As much as people say this, try to search around a little bit.

I didn't see it in there, and I just looked again.

By the way, this RCS mystery doesn't happen on all computers, in particular the one I tried Deepstar on last night. That computer was running Vista, if it matters. Others I've tried were either XP or 2000.

It is in there. Believe me.

Just use the RCS On/Off switch on the main panel, if the indicator points to "Safe", the RCS is off, if there is no indicator, click the RCS On/Off Switch

Hope this helps
