You have to be heading toward some constellation whether you want to or not.
Constellations are directions, not locations.
Here is how to find out:
Hit F9 to bring up the planetarium.
Then press F4. Press "visual helpers" button. Then under the "planetarium" tab check "lines" and "labels"in the "constellatons" section.
Now go to your HUD in orbit view. You should be able to see what constellation your prograde marker is in.

Newtonian physics is not incompatible with a finite speed of light, but there is nothing special about the speed of light in Newtonian physics, unlike in relativity where it plays the roll of the maximum speed at which matter (and information) may travel.
