    When you say you tried to install DirectX9, you mean you tried to install DirectX Redist. June 2010 and Win10 didn't accept it? From my brief experience with it (a couple of years ago) it don't recall it having any objections.

    asking for youtube tutorials

    Dave's tutorials helped me immensely, during the last couple of days I've been watching them. Being a KSP player mainly, I knew I would need a crash course on the sim's MFDs and his tutorials did that and much more.
