Yup I've tried all the video modes... HAL, T&L RGB EMU.. Tried on multiple installs of orbiter over the months, had the problem on XP and contue to have it on Win7 For kicks I'll try just an absolute bare bones orbiter install tonight with no mods installed .. maybe it's a mod I'm using that...
