Didn't want to start a new thread. Reinstalling Orbiter 2016 after some time away and using Orb to quick-load/start. Question regarding the AMSO moon surface textures. The AMSO manual says to make sure Moon_0_W0080_N0020.dds and a few other files are in the Textures directory. I don't see those...
I'm running a fresh install of O-2016 (Win 10, Direct X 12). Added D3D9 today and I do not get a video tab on the main screen. Further, when I launch a scenario, I get a command box that ends with this:
Orbiter NG (no graphics)
Running in server mode (no graphics client attached).

Minor issue with XR. Just did a clean install (PC crash) and XR is not playing the docking and undocking sounds. I've removed the 3 hashtags in front of the command. I did that for the RCS callouts and those work now. Any suggestions?
So, maybe I should skip the 2016 version with D3D9?

OK. Interesting. I got it to work fine on a clean install using the base exe file (not ng). Then I added O-Sound. Crash. Could I have a corrupted version...
None. Clean install. Reinstalled it today. O2016, OSound, New D3D9. That's it.

Nope. Still crashes. Crap.
D3D9 active. Used symlinks. Launched ng.exe.
Just tried it in widowed mode and it crashed. Switched to full screen and it crashed. Was able to get it to crash using the MFD buttons in both generic cockpit mode and 2D Panel. Seemed to work ok in VGC. Seems to only be the bottom two buttons...
Just upgraded my PC and installed O 2016. Running Orbiter Sound and D3D9Client2016-R2-1. This is the most current version of the D9 client I could find. Starts fine. But when I click on any MFD button the program exits to desktop. Suggestions?

Just because I can't find this anywhere else, but I saw that Martin said 2015 at the earliest. I will be very sad, but very understanding, if this slips for a long time. Any guestimate on completion?
My kids and I love this, Martin. Thanks for your efforts.
When I turn this mode on, I get the stars and constellation names, but aren't I also supposed to get lines for the constellations? The toggle doesn't seem to work.
Also, can someone point me to a thread for a hint on Challenge #4, landing with limited fuel from GSO?
