when i read Goth's trip, i couldn't grasp how the trip could be possible without refueling somewhere. but your comments about the use of aerobraking and an optimum launch window suddenly makes this trip possible. 10k is not much room for error!

hey orbekler, i've had the same problem with the xr5 spinning in. the only remedy i've found is to maintain the same heading as your takeoff (eg if you go from runway 33 then stay on the heading of 330 degrees). stops the crash butake is more difficult to align planes for a future rendezvous...
