Very nice addon Wishbone! Some years ago I designed a BNTR stage for SimNASA myself, but I didn't get to this level of simulation. I very much like the way the engine startup and cooldown is implemented.
There is a problem IMHO with the Xe135 poisoning though. It's now implemented (I beleive)...
Scenario package and documentation for the recreation of the Apollo 9 mission with AMSO. This mission did a lot of things for the first time, including the launched of a manned Saturn V stack and flying the Lunar Module.
And it works just fine (after some practice ;-) )
Very nice piece of work! I saw a lot of references to coelliptical orbit rendezvous when reflying Gemini and early Apollo missions, this makes it all a lot clearer. I hope to incorporate some of it in the AMSO Apollo 9 scenario pack I'm working...
Just wanted to notify I've started to work on a scenario package for the AMSO Apollo 9 mission. Perhaps also a sound package, but I haven't been able to find very much sound from this flight. Hope to publish it somewhere in August.
Those retro's only fire a the last moment. In fact the dust you see is probably kicked up by the retro exhaust, rather than by air pushed out from under the capsule.

I only seem to have trouble with the stage 3 autopilot on the Luna-1 launch scenario. It look like it fails to lock on as it starts to yaw widely on every launch, sometimes resulting in a sort of flat spin. Autopilot on the other...
I very much doubt if there is software available for such a thing: it would have to take into effect not only the rotation on the earth for a certain latitude plus the camera attitude but also the optics of the camera lens.
