I tried using ATMOSPHERE::clbkParams() like you said, but the problem is still there. However, the API guide does specifically say "more sophisticated models can make use of the additional parameters such as position (longitude and latitude), solar flux, geomagnetic index, and date."...
Is it possible to write an atmosphere module in which the parameters vary over time? I'm trying to create one for Pluto so that the surface pressure changes with its seasons. The module loads correctly, but there is still a problem. When I run a scenario, the atmosphere originally has the...
I just ran into something in OrbiterConfig.pdf that I never heard of before.
In the planet configuration section (2.3) it says the following about the "HasElements" bool:
Does anyone know how to define a position/velocity pair for a planet? It never describes how to do so in the manual.
(1/2)τr2 would make the area of a circle more similar to other formulas:
distance: (1/2)at2
kinetic energy: (1/2)mv2
And I still can't get over the fact that eiτ = 1.
I agree that the decimal system is FAR too integrated into daily life to change, but I think we could still accommodate tau without replacing pi, especially in trig. It would make learning the unit circle and graphing trig functions easier.
Pi used to be my favorite number before I read this:

I agree that tau is much more elegant and useful than pi. What do you think?
Unfortunately, I can't get this program to work properly. Everything works fine until the program opens the main interface. The "complete segment" and "finish project" buttons are missing. Here is a screenshot.
Kepler-62 System v2.1
I just updated this add-on. If you already have version 2.0, a small update pack is available on my website (ip-orbiter.weebly.com) so that you don't have to re-download the whole thing.
Three bugs are now fixed.
The base on Kepler-62f no longer causes a ctd for...
This add-on models the 5 known planets of the Kepler-62 system that were discovered by the Kepler spacecraft. Â Two of the planets, Kepler-62e and f, are in the habitable zone of the star. Â This add-on also contains:
3 hypothetical moons
2 bases with original layouts
20 scenarios
Realistic...
Before I upload the add-on (Yes, I know I'm terrible with deadlines), I'd like to get some input on something. Since this update is very extensive, there is a bit of a problem: If anyone made any custom scenarios with the previous version, they may not work properly with the new version. This...
