I already lowered PeR to 78km. ApR is 14M after 3 succsessive orbits. Won't temperature build up to where Ill be toast? DGIV is not very forgiving, I find. :(

Hmmm.:hmm:Down to 1600 lbs of propellant. I have base sync MFD and Aerobrake MFD. I thought I would have to change orbit to land at cape, Can I alter trajectory that much and won't I burn up if I bank during re entry?

Really like the DGIV. Nice ship.:speakcool: I use the Mk II version (200KN thrust) and default fuel. Having a difficult time getting home from the geosyncronous orbit that I put myself into. Deployed a satillite and now only have about 8% fuel left. I think I screwed up the launch, as I was not...

I don't know if anybody noticed, but gemini 4.5 has no thruster sound in the capsule. Does anybody know if this can be fixed by editing a file? thanks

Thanks guys. :cheers: It seems to do better when ship is in prograde attitude.

Its not so much altitude, but attitude that is changing, even if I enable level horizon, thrusters fire constantly to maintain attitude.

Using a few of the stock scenarios for the DG, I find that while in a circular orbit of roughly 300km, ecc~.002 that the DG tumbles a lot! I would think that it would be fairly rock stable at 300km. Is this a bug or am I missing something? thanks

I was wondering if we will see a Vostok, Soyuz ect. interior in the near future. Don't have to be a virtual interior, but even like the one for the Gemini would be nice. Interiors really add to the immersion factor:speakcool:.

Yeah. XR1 has virtual cockpit and the iv is easier to configure. They are both cool in their own ways.

I downloaded the DG XR1 and DGIV. XR1 is cool the way the radiator acually needs to be deployed in orbit or your cabin overheats. Does it matter with the DGIV? So far, I have not noticed this. thanks

Yes. I discovered with the forum's help that re entry is much more difficult than I thought. :fool: I am able to land DG stock, but not near the Cape. Luckily it has engines! as I was thousands of klicks from the Cape!!:clap:

Firing retro and timing so pink square on map is near the Cape. As I approach the pink square, I have to pitch down near -50 deg to prevent the pink square from moving east along orbital path. If I try to pitch up to realistic +40 deg, she skips like a stone on a pond and the pink square moves...
