I recently downloaded IMFD 5.1 to use in AMSO, after I extracted it, I went into one of my AMSO missions and the MFD looked the same, is it supposed to be the same or does the IMFD have a new interface?

Hello everyone, I just started using orbiter a few days ago. I really like the AMSO Apollo missions. But I recently downloaded IFMD 5.1 so I could use it on the Apollo missions. I know I have to extract it somewhere, but I just don't know where and how would I use IFMD? Any help thanks:)
