Never mind video of the previous flight, video of this one will hit youtube *today*!
I've been working on this run for almost two weeks now. My first dozen flights ending in a variety of hull breaches before I even got to the roll to inverted flight. Then I had a whale of a time staying in control of the roll and vertical speed.
I've a long way to go with this one but in any...
I've just updated from the R8 release to the R12 release of the D3D9 client and there's a feature that I'd like to turn off.
When using the flight recorder, during recording this appears on screen:

I wasn't aware of a newer d3d9, I'll get that asap thanks
As for creating symbolic links, no, I wasn't aware that was needed or just how to do so (windows 7 64bit) and for which things it needs to be done.
Edit: OK, I did some more reading and found the mention of the 'create symbolic links'...
I've just gotten this for Orbiter 2010 p1 and I've found that if I'm running the D3D9 client (R8, Jan 2013) the ships do not render at all, have no fuel and do not respond to controls other than MFD settings.
Running without D3D9 they work and render correctly. Is there some way that I can use...
If I had even the first clue how to do that I'd be willing to try. As it is I've no experience making or modifying Orbiter ships. Only flying them.

Now that looks promising! Funny how I didn't spot it...
Thanks. I have looked at that one and may well use it however the one ship my project must have is the Discovery and it's not in that collection.
So it's likely a dead project. That is a loss. Those ships are great and no other mod/addon I've found even comes close to duplicating them...
I've been trying without success to get "2001_2010 Space Odyssey Vessels" to work in Orbiter 2010 p1.
I tried checking the author's website linked on orbithangar.com however it's just a 404 error now.
I know these ships were originally made a long time before the 2010 version of orbiter...
