Installation Returning to Orbiter after years, can't get it running

Buck Rogers, thanks for the info. I was trying all variations of graphics settings and resolutions, so that was just the last one I tried. Maybe nbcfrosty's idea is the fix? Thank you nbcfrosty too. I'll add it to things I'll try! Will report back with hopefully good news tonight.

Installation Returning to Orbiter after years, can't get it running

Let me try to attach my log here. It's the last one I tried. Jarmonik, I don't think it's integrated graphics. Computers aren't my forte. Can they integrate an Nvidia Geforce graphics system? I'll check that build when I get the time. Thanks.

Installation Returning to Orbiter after years, can't get it running

Thanks for your reply and sorry it took so long to get back to it. I'm at work now, I'll check the log as you say and post it when I get the chance tonight. Installation Returning to Orbiter after years, can't get it running

Hi all. Returning to Orbiter after many years away, and I'm having difficulty getting it running. I downloaded Orbiter 2016 zip file...

    OHM Surface Speed MFD

Thanks, guys! Works now. One thing I goofed, is I searched for MSVPC70.dll, but it's really MSVRC70.dll. Duh! Still, I wouldn't have been sure where it goes. I tried in System 32 folder first, but it still didn't work, even after restarting, in hopes it gets loaded in boot-up. Works fine in...

    OHM Surface Speed MFD

Just what I've been waiting for! Just one problem, I get an error, 'This application has failed to start because MSVPC70.dll was not found' when I try to add the MFD in the MODULES tab of Orbiter. Is it a missing part of the MFD, another add-on, something else?
