According to the report the aircraft is inverted. The hole you're looking at in the fuselage is the bomb bay. The holes in the engine nacelles are for the gear. The nose is damaged from the impact but it's in good condition after being on the sea bed for 70 years.

I thought it looked more like micro-meteorite / space debris impact damage. That would probably hurt more than a 30mm cannon anyway. I'll be downloading it tonight. :thumbup:
Hi I'm Ian and I'm new to all of this - I only stumbled across Orbiter by chance last weekend. I can't believe I didn't find sooner.
