N122VU :shifty:
With 58 knot winds during last weeks storm Christian (record was above 100 that day), parking brakes became useless for this AI Pipers, here at Sylt airport (EDXW). The METAR said AD CLOSED for a reason... but who cares. :P
I'd love to use it, if there'd be some more action. Those old days with multiple peolple flying around a carrier in Lake Tahoe or near Ascension were always great.
If "..something possibly more interesting" is DCS, I'd totally say go for it :)
As both addons mostly use ini and cfg files, it should be possible to rename the
meshes of one addon before installing it to avoid overwriting and change the reference to the mesh in the ini or cfg files.
Oh, you're just like me. Scared to die and added a chute and decoupler to the cockpit :P.
This is my best aircraft (or, at least the one I had the most fun with).
Great articles. I actually love to wake up at night, just to take a look at the clock and see that I have many hours left to get some more sleep.
But I rarely use this do do something else...
Today it was eight hours, kind of usual for me. When I'm really tired and don't set an alarm clock, I sometimes end up with 14 hours. Five hours seem to be my absolute minimum.
I have both a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and a Attack 3 sitting on my desk.
I'd say the 3D Pro is a good choice for its price. If you don't need rudder control the Attack 3 is also quite good.
You often can see the Extreme 3D Pro in the news here, as the German Army uses it for small UAVs :P.
As you can see, long lines in front of the planes to get inside them, to long for me:

I searched for some picture from Oberpfaffenhofen and found some with XP running. Looks like they've switched to Windows...
