It looks like what we used to call styropor. I'm not sure that's the correct term (I think it's a brand name) but it's some kind of polystyrene foam. The main thing about styropor is that you can't use epoxy because the solvent will dissolve the material. The correct method is to use contact...

Oh! My bad. I was going by the drawing because it says the motor-mounts are made out of plywood. Manufacturers aren't always on the ball when it comes to updating documentation.

Plywood can become brittle if it's allowed to dry too much without some coating. If you bend it too much it will delaminate.

Heresy!!! You need to say 20 Hail Probes and do at least 5 laps 'round Brighton Beach in a Shuttle-A. :hailprobe: I'd make a template of all plywood parts before assembly because I've had problems with old plywood that had lost most of its strength.

Advanced Question View from inside a vessel not in focus

I haven't used that mod so I can't comment on it. But the one I remember was using the mesh from this, and I remember using it to snap images of the far side of the Moon. It's slightly off-topic because this used the view from the focused vessel. I just wanted to point out that a similar...

Advanced Question View from inside a vessel not in focus

I remember someone made exactly that for the Luna E3, but I can't find it now. I'm not sure it was ever publicly released.

Flight Question Atmospheric wind effects do not feel right

Exact reproducability is not going to be important for the "average" user, but essential for some developers. Would it be possible to use random(ish) local effects (gusts etc.) and then add a [Record local weather]? This way developers can use replays to replicate exact conditions.

I hear this same thing every time there's a bit of snow in London. "Planes land in snowy places every day. Why can't we buy some more snow plows?" I wonder when someone in the UK will figure out that it isn't the snow on the ground that's the problem. It's the snow in the air!!! If visibility...

    Question Air-Conditioning, Use and care.

Isn't that exactly describing relative humidity? And I can tell you from experience that 15°C/59°F @100%RH is a lot more uncomfortable than 32°C/90°F @36%RH, even if the dew points are identical. When we talk about temperatures around freezing (0°C) high humidity can be deadly. Around here...
