It's very silly that there's a rule against NASA cooperating with the Chinese. How does that benefit either side? Are we really resorting to childish things like that? "No, you can't come into our fort, no girls(chinese) allowed!"

Please keep politics out of this. It's supposed to be about celebrating what Discovery accomplished as it takes to the air for the final time.

You say that like the shuttle could take us to the moon or mars... :x Even then, political will for all forms of space travel is dwindling - even just to orbit. It's not the fault of any specific vehicle or system.
