Well, I reverted back to the base orbiter version and D3D9 client, so probably not, unless wind is a feature only in the beta.

Well, I've worked out the problem. It was the 111105 beta. Now, I can fly my rockets with impunity!
To celebrate, here's the basic model climbing to orbit:
Ahhh, thanks.
Edit: Of course, the "randomly fly off at a random speed" bug is still occurring...
Edit2: Okay, this is REALLY getting on my nerves
This was happening with the XR fleet, too...
Edit3: seems to be the 111105 beta...
Just put 70 tonnes into a polar orbit, I think statswise it's complete. (Velcro's autopilot doesn't like anything but polar orbits it seems...is there a good autopilot module out there? My piloting skills for any vehicle leave a lot to be desired :P)
Testing my new launch vehicle:
(Velcro is not playing nice with me, so it took a while to get a good picture. Does anyone know why my rockets decide to fly off in a random direction on scenario load sometimes?)
I realized today that I saw the Apollo 9 command module when I was little. It was located at the Jackson Space Center until it closed in 2004 or so, and the capsule was moved to San Diego. But, I can't remember it at all... it was before I really cared about space, so it didn't stick in my mind...
Working on a 5-meter station module
(Figured it was better to post it here rather than the screenshots thread considering it's...not really a screenshot :P)
