Thanks, I'll keep it in mind. There isn't any point using legit-sounding names for armies in Europa Universalis either. I've just been using numbered 'Offensive' and 'Defensive' names, with the exception of the 'PANIC ARMY' merc unit that sprung up in the last war with the Holy Roman Empire.

Indeed. To be fair, they are adding new content, but there's no end in sight to this feature creep.

Before I had my current PC (runs Skyrim smoothly on ultra settings with all sorts of mods... don't hate me :shifty:) I was adapted to playing games at 15-25fps tops, with no complaints. Once you get out of there, it's hard to go back... What bothers me most about this image is that the author...

Seems so. Last year was the same way - outright warm until Christmas. We were buried from January to June, though. View from the same window last February: Apologies for the terrible smartphone camera. My slightly better one was AWOL at the time.

Since Space Engineers is giving me ire, it's back to KSP. It's been far too long. :) This isn't exactly stupendous compared to my previous efforts at interplanetary vehicles, but the design feels fairly solid, and it's much easier on the frame rate. I should be heading out to Duna for a...

Gaming Space Engineers (now in BETA)

Weird. The game is eating up all my RAM even in scenarios without planets, made before the update. Task Manager tells me it's using less than 2GB, but about 5GB gets cached on top of that. I do hope the game becomes playable again. This is why I hate being forced to always use the current...

Eeeexactly. 20GB per month for $80. Satellite connection so ping no smaller than 3000ms at any moment. No possible alternatives other than a package from the same company with 50GB/month that costs as much as unlimited fibre-optic in other regions (and remains disconnected 50% of the time due to...

I haven't really touched Space Engineers since before the DX11 addition; must say, it looks quite nice now.

It tastes more like a Minmus rock than anything (which sadly turns out not to be like candy), but who knows what that fuel stuff is even made of, anyway? In any case, having it on the desk, as well as being a fire hazard, may inspire a new career in KSP after many months away.

Went out stargazing for some time tonight, for the first time in ages. Saw several satellites and watched the finest sliver of the lunar surface sink under the tree line, nicely lines up with Venus. Can't wait to have my glasses back so everything isn't so poorly defined.

I accidentally found myself on 'Know Your Meme' recently, and found a little gem to make it even more contemptible - the website jacks your browser's Back button to take you to the previous image in the set instead of the previous visited page. That's just rude!
