I started playing the game on a similar key layout. You just have to memorise which button does which rotation, which can be difficult in three dimensions. At least now it's relative to the player and not global. The display also helps immensely - it even shows which button you need to press...
Yeah. People died. It's all well and good to speculate on stalls and engine failures, but the fact is that we all just watched lives end. I can only imagine the terror happening inside during the final moments.

Yup. I don't think anyone found it particularly interesting.
There are a few inexpensive hosting options out there, on top of doing it yourself if you have the resources, like Hielor with the MC server. I had one with PingPerfect for a month or so, without any problems other than game updates...
