After updating all of my PCs at work I can see performance hit. GPU assisted work got less impact but we're mostly working on CPU intensive processes (CorelDraw, Adobe Acrobat and RIPs) and in Corel (with custom VB toolset) I noticed 30% decrease in performance.

TBH I wouldn't recomend it. It's toy grade drone with next to none power making useless in the wind and terrible 640x480 camera. FPV beyond 20 meter range gets lots of latency, and with camera it goes only for ~8 minutes. If you want casual flying, get Parrot or DJi. If you want more advanced...

It's pretty weak laser. I can't for example directly etch PCBs, however it's ok for plywood (up to 20mm), plexiglass, ABS, rubber, cork, wood or even glass (I can't cut glass but I can engrave it). If you need some parts just poke me via PM. I'd be happy to help out. ---------- Post added at...

Taking advantage of lack of wind, I've done some flying today. This Syma quad is vastly underpowered for my liking but that was expected for $40. I need to dissasemble it and put all the plastics (body, legs etc) on the scale. Maybe I can do lighter version.

I'll redo them to 16 and 19mm spacing when my parts arrive. Only then I'll proceed with laser cutting. Also I'll have to make proper mounting for cameras but that too will be after I have parts in my hands.
