As @n72.75 said REALISM has been removed along with things like quickstart mode and SimpleAGC. The decision for this was made some years ago to put all our effort into making NASSP as realistic as possible. Maintaining an "easy" mode in parallel would take up too much time and is already...
Some of you may have been following some activity about new FDAI textures lately. Today these have been added to NASSP by default to replace the ones that have been used for around the last 15 years. Many thanks go out to @chrival for the new textures. Credit also goes out to @Lupus_Vulpes for...
I can reproduce an issue that causes a CTD. If I open an external MFD and resize the window so the MFD panel is 0x0 pixels an abort is called in the D3D9 client.
You can find the crashdump here: https://puu.sh/IILOZ/5a485c5d9e.dmp
Issues arise before I get to 0x0, if I slowly shrink the panel...
Wow! I'm a bit blown away by what I'm seeing, that looks amazing! I love the look of those integral lights.
@jalexb88 is the guy you want to talk to about anything graphics related. It would be very beneficial to both you and us if you come talk with us on IRC to coordinate stuff sometime. We...
The absence of a license never ever means public domain nor does CC-BY mean it is. By default all rights are reserved to the author. I doubt the creator of that thread stating that no license means the assumption is CC-BY would technically hold up. Granting a license is the sole right of the...
What are your specs?
I know we don't currently provide a set of minimum system requirements and we are thinking of ways to determine those (anyone with ideas DM me).
NASSP is pretty CPU heavy, especially in the 2D panel. I'd like to explain why.
The way the 2D panel works is by overlaying...
It certainly is something weird going on in the AGC. I spend a couple of hours digging in to this in October and somehow the AGC is ignoring the state of the optics mode switch in certain cases causing it to drive the optics to the last AGC commanded position. You can fix it by going to P06 or a...
Cool project.
NASSP doesn't expose a public API at the moment (unless you consider the telemetry stream to be). The are plans to lay down some infrastructure to let external programs interface with NASSP but this is still quite a while away. In the meantime you would have to find your own...
This thread has been locked so only development updates can get posted. If you have a question or something other to discuss, please create a new thread.
I have split your question into a separate thread. The release work thread is for development updates only.
While we do appreciate your feedback, I'm gonna ask you to be mindful of the fact that NASSP is a free & open source product and that the developers do their work in their free time and...
Apart from displaying the Project Apollo MFD using the external MFD window I don't know of any way you can currently display the mission time outside the cockpit.
That MFD is very very old and not really used for anything anymore. I'm not surprised it has some issues. It'll probably be removed at some point unless someone has an active need for it and wants to fix it.
