Bit of both, primary references were the HST SM3B and SM4 Cargo Systems Manuals (CSMs):

Since you mentioned the MPS and Aero Slews, will we able to do the SSME REPO procedure with 2.0? THe reason I mention both is that the despite the procedure name, the post-landing SSME REPO procedure actually moves both the SSMEs and the aerosurfaces to full down as can be seen here:

Discussion Space Shuttle Vessel - Payload Development Thread

I've had STS-109 in the works for some time, but decided to pause work on it as for proper operations I need DPS access and all three SSPs (L12 and L12U) as well as advanced control of the CCTV system for the FSS Berthing Camera.

If you could explain this, please do.

OHM Cape Canaveral Tiles - Level 21 (1024x1024)

No, that would be these: https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/new-global-textures-and-night-lights-level-11-version.43597/ And for the Cape textures, it would be Map 1.

OHM Cape Canaveral Tiles - Level 21 (1024x1024)

Seems like a tile or two didn't get masked off properly for transparency. It's just off the coast, east of Launch Complex 39B.

    Atmospheric Winds implementation

IIRC from way back, it was a hack, more of trial run thay never worked properly and messed with the flight models in a non realistic way. This is similar to another removed feature that Orbiter used have back in the day, which was actual lens glare whenever tje Sun was in the FOV. It was...

    Atmospheric Winds implementation

Currently the atmospheric winds implementation is very flawed and doesn't work right. If there's no desire to implement a proper simulation of them, then they along with the checkbox for them in the Launchpad should be removed entirely. GitHub ticket link...

    Project Space Shuttle Vessel

Seeing as that you're part of the flight crew in SSV, you wouldn't be able to hear the PAO loop as it is transmitted on its own frequency, separate from KSC OIS (Operational Intercommunications System) channel 212 and the A/Gs that the crew is tied into. Same reason why we as the audience...

    [Feature request] Improved Joystick/Gamepad Support

This is a thread to discuss the implementation of new and more improved joystick/gamepad support in Orbiter as the current one is old and doesn't support newer and more advanced units such as the X-52 HOTAS. GitHub ticket link: https://github.com/orbitersim/orbiter/issues/541

When is improvements to GNC and APU/hydraulic systems planned for? Would like to have a fully working ADI and given that the APU/hydraulic system is by far the oldest system in SSV (it dates back to the original Space Shuttle Deluxe in 2007) I think it needs some attention.

Updates Blue Origin announces the New Glenn Orbital Launch Vehicle

Plenty of those ideas through out the 80's and 90's. Only real success was McDonnell Douglas's DC-X:

Updates Blue Origin announces the New Glenn Orbital Launch Vehicle

Maybe profit was never the reason, but the same schedule pressure was certainly there. Apollo 1, STS-51L and STS-107, they all had serious schedule pressure pushing them. Apollo 1 had the political pressure of beating the Soviets and landing on the Moon before the end of the decade. STS-51L was...

OHM New Global Textures and Night Lights [level 12 version]

Noted major issue with these textures: They remove the high resolution tiles around the Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center area. Screenshot provided.

Updates Blue Origin announces the New Glenn Orbital Launch Vehicle

Well, New Glenn exploded on the pad tonight during the planned hot fire test. After an aborted attempt 2 hours earlier, the 7 BE-4 engines of the first stage (GS-1) ignited at 9 pm EDT (0100 UTC May 29) which was followed by the vehicle exploding, seeming taking its Transporter/Erector with it.

While on the subject of payloads: How are you planning to to handle Spacelab? I just wonder because the Spacelab tunnel used its own custom bridge rail panels for the trunnion pins. Currently there's no way to specify this.
