In Orbiter 2016 using an XR5:
I've sent out on EVA a UMMUCREW element with no problem.
Focus on the character and Orbiter crashes.
Apparently any attempt to load UMNU scenarios causes Orbiter 2016 to crash. I don't see the ADD on in the compatibility. I guess they are simply not compatible right?
I'm really sorry. I think I rushed in my question. I did that several times. What I meant was docking a vessel to another. Like a DeltaGlider with a ShuttleA, to make a simple example.
Hi Reese. Despite I'm a total newbie I went through the same problem just yesterday and find out a solution so, maybe, I can help you.
First have a look at the Addons working on 2016, section stations.

Well It's weird to me. I just completed a small flight around Deimos and back landed on Mars.
I see the main fuel level going down quickly then, if I'm unloading and reloading the scenario, is rising up.
I ended the flight with 12% fuel and I reloaded the scenario with 66%...
I can't really say...
Hello everyone. I'm a begginner preparing my first trip to Jupiter (from Mars)
I'm using a XR5 as vessel (Orbiter 2016).
I already made several experiment with Oxigen payload (considering the trip duration it's quite an important factor)
I assumed it would be the same with extra fuel but...
Exactly! It's kinda a nice glitch.
Considering mars atmosphere being so thin the speed to have a scram engine working should be enormous.... probably bigger than the 4 kmps er second that allow you to get to the orbit
I didn't really attempt as once i get there I had no scram fuel available and I didn't refuel...
In any case, unless I totally misunderstood, with such a low quantity of oxigen in mars atmosphere I think there's no way a jet engine could work.
I've just landed on Mars with the XR2 and...
Well I'm just considering that most likely SCRAM should not work in a 0.13% Oxigen atmosphere, not even considering the tremendously low pressure.
I guess the way home should cost a lot of fuel.
Actually i just discovered how easy it's the final brake in a moon landing using burn time calculator combined with retro-engine.
you have just to take care of vertical speed... that hill was not a big problem but rather a fancy distraction
Totally. I've landed in BB with the XR2 in 2016 without any problem. Altitude indication is actually going up and down with the HUD in surface mode but it totally makes sense as it's due to the ground modelling.
I was caming from a weird inclination plane such that I had actually to get over a...
If you use the burn time calculator with "CIR" option it basically does half of the work for you. For example you set the periapsis and it make the apoaxis or you just set yourself the apoaxis and it circularize the orbit for you.
Thankyou a lot!
That plane change made the difference as the end.
Basically what I missed after that is that the very fine tuning of variables is a bit tricky. I discovered when I add and subtract a value (expecially on man. date time) I do not get initial value.
I discovered setting the...
Thankyou so much!
I'll have a look at everyone of your suggestion in detail.

I wonder...
all modifications you made were in maneuver mode weren't they?
I'm still not able to get better...
I've added a scenario too. Seem impossible to get a decent manouver result... I'm around 200M meter and whicever variable I'm changing I do not see any
improvement...
Ok... I guess this is something that could be helpful for others too. Assuming you're in an LEO want to get to mars.
I made the ejection plan on stage 2. Got a nice prediction and now I have to setup the manoeuvre.
Fine with the Dv (it's just suggested so easy to setup)
Fine with the Dt (I'll...
Thankyou. It was probably the cause.
Actually I managed to improve a lot installing the correct and more new version of transX.
Now prediction in the ejection plan is quite correct but still manouver sucks. I guess you are right about my orientation but I didn't really understand how to improve it.
Hello everyone. I'm a newbie so maybe the answer I'm searching is just trivial.
I've started using TransX looking at a couple tutorial/manual around.
I was trying to calculate a Escape from Earth+Mars trajectory.
My troubles are just at the beginning when trying to define a decent ejection...
