Not far above Mach 1 you want the visor up at all times to prevent the windshield from melting. The wind rushing sound does build quickly once you reach a certain speed threshold so I suspect it's WAD to remind you of this (not yet simulated) fact.

Yes, I did ensure I was near the target attitude before engaging AP but even then it was constantly oscillating around the target (only by a few degrees, but using full thrusters the whole time anyway). Whatever it was, it seems to have stopped reoccurring. :I

So I'm trying to recreate the Apollo 9 mission according to the scenario pack and tutorial on OH but have run into a bit of a snag: When docked with the LM, Attitude MFD (v3.2) can't seem to handle maintaining a target attitude; it will constantly oscillate with max thrusters around the target...

And don't time accelerate. I know it's tempting because the ascent in such a bird is a long process, but if you time accelerate your ascent profile is going to end up very sloppy and inefficient.

I guess my first question is...how do the afterburners work right now? :lol:
