Guys?
I know Orbiter for about a decade. I've played a fair amount of time with it. And I've lurked a fair amount of time in these forums...
...but I never, ever, got an answer about that. Every single time I asked it, the conversation either derailed, or people disappeared from the thread...
I was using the Delta Glider with scram jets, a default vessel in a default scenario. For reference, I've only downloaded Orbiter 2016, Orbiter Sound and hires Earth.

Hi! I don't know what NAN space is.
After a long travel, I was executing the final touchdown with hover thrusters on Brighton Beach. When I touched the ground, I was simply thrown out from the Solar System.
I could see the Sun, Venus and Mercury flying away.
I used Orbiter 2016, with all the realistic options.
Has this...
I'm already deorbited. I'm using the mentioned reentry scenarios, where I'm already bound to touch the surface a bit past Florida (not considering atmosphere).

Well, is it possible to land at Cape Canaveral...
Hi! I tried it all. Even flying upside down.
I know these are the least realistic models, but even so, I'm always passing way over the landing site.
For a time, I even though these scenarios were not meant to be feasible. But they wouldn't remain like that for so long. So what could I be doing...
Hi!
Is there a tutorial for Atlantis reentry 1 and 2 scenarios?
I never could find someone to explain how to excecute a reentry with the original STS and scenarios that come with Orbiter.
No matter what I do, I simply get way past over the landing site, always. And the tutorials I found were...
I'm trying to take off from the Moon and go to Mars with orbiter2010. I created four stages: escape from Moon, escape from Earth, transfer from Earth to Mars, and arriving at Mars.
I tried to turn the maneuver mode on and set burn parameters in the Moon stage, and crashed. I suppose this is a...
In the stock "Atlantis reentry" 2 scenario, no matter what I do, I always pass well over Cape Canaveral. Even if I try a suicidal dive, I can't help but land somewhere way past Cuba. What am I doing wrong? =/
Thanks.
Hi!
This is the only thing I got right from the beginning. I think my problem is in understanding the graphics to discover the launch time.
I see the node's line and my "landed orbit", but I don't know what I should see to start the launch. Should they be close? Should they be perpendicular...
Manual from Orbiter says the TransX MFD should have a SW button for holding views when changing stages, but in that place I see an EXE button, with an unknown function. How do I use the SW function? And what is the purpose of the EXE?
Thanks.
Hi,
I'm not being able to understand the TransX's escape view so that I launch in the correct plane. I read that I should put in equatorial projection and launch when the gray line comes close to my ship. But it's easier said than done. I was trying to flight to Mars in the stock Delta Glider...
