Symbolic link worked
I don't know what a symbolic link does, but it was exactly what I needed. All my scenarios now work, because all my ships use spacecraft3.
I can't refuel my ship on the pad or in the scenario editor. I am landed at Brighton Beach and flying my Redtail spacecraft from Cowboy Bebop. My ship is inoperable.
Must be a bug.
Edit: none of my Spacecraft 3 ships I made are working in orbiter_ng mode. There is no fuel and I am getting...
I am getting the following error when I use large screen resolutions:
"Initializing 3d environment using a hardware device failed. Try again with a software device."
I am running orbiter 2016 with the D3D9 graphics.
While that code will certainly be helpful, I am still looking for a way for the user to enter the target name. I could have them type it in (I was able to make that work), but I would prefer a dialog box listing the vessel names in the scenario.
I am trying to change the focus to a target vessel. I found this "define" OAPI_LKEY_DlgSelectVessel. I'm not sure how to activate it. It isn't a method but a definition. I have ConsumeKeyBuffered with switches to handle button presses. Maybe something goes in there, but I don't know how to...
White screen
I downloaded the source files and tried opening a few scenarios. I don't get a loading screen, or a crash, just a blank white screen. Not sure what to do about this, but I thought I would let you know. I am running Windows 10 with an NVIDIA GTX970.
Hey, I've been trying for years to try and make my own MFD, but I still don't know where to begin. I have maybe two source code examples for burnTimeCalc and NameChangeMFD, but I think I need more source code files or tutorials. I just want to make an MFD that displays the range to a target...
Did you download the latest version of the Daixing? It has newer versions of the LP13 and Daixing, and you shouldn't have a problem with the strange orbital behavior. However, the texture sizes are very large and might run slow on an older machine. Sorry!
Note: the latest version of the LP-13 can be found in the Daixing download. It has improved fuel efficiency, and another ship to dock with.
Attack Vector Tactical: Daixing
In Attack Vector: Tactical, higher thrust reduces ISp in the fusion engines. I was going by the "tactical" thrust mode, but the result is short range. I couldn't even get to Jupiter! So instead I used Ken's "transit" dV instead of the "tactical" total dV. This seems more realistic for...
Thrusters
Anyone have any advice on the thrusters? Is there a way to make the ship more nimble, so I can reduce the thrust on the thrusters, saving fuel? Right now the thrusters rip through the ship's fuel reserves.

I got it to work by editing the mesh file and manually entering links to the .dss files after running the script. To get it to export I changed the texture images of the obj to connect to the .dss files instead of .bmp files. When I did this, there were no errors in exporting from blender.
Attack Vector: Tactical is a boardgame by Ken Burnside. Â It is hyper-realistic in its description of various fictional spacecraft. Â Here is the LP-13 with its patrol tender, the Daixing. In theory up to four LP-13s can dock with the patrol tender at a time.
