I am attempting to learn to fly the XR2 by flying around KSC. I can land back on the runway smoothly but the wheel brakes do not stop the vessel and I skid off to the side in most cases. Am I missing something? Running Orbiter 2016 clean install with latest D3D9 client with the Sound and DGIV...

I am still having a braking problem with the XR vessels using the latest downloads. The wheel brake effectiveness seems to be a lot less than the standard DG so the XR1/2 takes forever to bring to a stop. Is this normal? Any suggestions gratefully received.

I've just installed the new Orbiter 2016 with D3D9Client and it works fine. Can anyone tell me which 3rd party MFDs are compatible with the latest Orbiter version and how to get them to work? I found IMFD and LTMFD but can't find any more. Can anyone assist? Thanks

I finally worked it out! I had the wrong version of IMFD ticked in Modules :facepalm: I had version 4.2.1 instead of an Orbiter 2010 compatible version. Works like a dream now.

I looked at IMFD and it seemed just as difficult to learn as TransX but probably worth a second look. I had a light bulb moment yesterday when I followed along with the ISS intercept video and completed the prograde transfer by myself and even managed to dock! :) Will check out Transfer MFD...

Yep, still trying but not really sure what all the colours and lines on the MFD signify just yet. Will watch some more videos and hope it all sinks in. Have tried the Flytandem 'Lunar Return' scenario a few times but I'm just pushing buttons without understanding what is happening. May have to...
