The only difference that I've noticed with "damage & failure" on, is a warning alarm when the AP cuts out. Have you tried turning "nonspherical gravity source" & "gravity-gradient torque" parameters off. This works for me dudes.

Checked Orulex in 100830 For me, Orulex seems to be functioning properly now, at least for 2010 P1. I had a slightly different experience with 100606. Also, I'm using ver. 1.2 of Orulex.

I tend to agree with you. Orulex lends a certain ambience to Orbiter that is otherwise missing. I tried it in both 100606 and 100830, it seemed to work reasonably well, but for the fact that it would CTD when I tried returning to the Launch menu. For now I'm not using it, but intend to...

Everything seems to work fine for 100606, but when I launch from a clean install with 100830 and orbiter sound 3.5 the vehicle doesn't correct for orbital insertion and burns up on reentering atmosphere.
