I have a similar issue with trying to install Launch MFD on Orbiter 2016 on a WIN 10 computer. My orbiter log is indicating a error code 126 associated with Launch MFD. Not sure if that is related to VC++ or something else.
I'm doing some research to try and trouble shoot this, but if anyone...
I did have rotation and translation during the separation maneuver and burn. But I believe some of the RCS switches were changed at the end of the separation burn checklist to "deactivate the RCS system". Since my SCT & SXT are aiming towards the earth right now, I need to "reactivate" the RCS...
OK, I zeroed out the trunnion and shaft (the physical readouts in the LEB view were showing zero's) and called up the V16N91. I was getting something like 40 deg and 270 deg in R1 & R2. I clicked on the handle below the sextant to manually adjust the trunnion & shaft angles, as I was going to...
I figured out that the program alarm is due to not having 2 usable stars available at my current orbital position and attitude. So I can try changing my attitude a bit or wait a bit and rerun V32 to see if I have 2 useable stars.
But I'm a bit perplexed that I performed "good" marks quicker...
Running into additional P52 issues, this time on the Apollo 7 scenario at about the T+5 hr mark. I felt like the procedure was MUCH easier this time around as opposed to doing it in the orb rate mode.
I had both stars dead center in the sextant when taking the marks, but I still ended up with...
Thanks Indy and Tony,
I got through the P52 alignment checklist using your tips and help. I did use a different star then the AGC selected and slowed down time to make the mark (hopefully I can do this in real time in the future with a bit of practice) and ended up with the required star...
Yes I'm in orbital rate so that is making it a bit more difficult I'm sure.
I'm rerunning this portion of Apollo 7 at a slower time speed to see if that will help. I noticed this time around that the audio clip just before the P52 IMU Realign checklist started stated that the stars to use...
I'm to about 2 hours into the Apollo 7 mission and I'm performing the P52 IMU Realign checklist.
Does anyone have any general tips for this procedure? I'm guessing that this is something that I'll get better at with some practice, but it's been difficult to get a good mark as the star moves...
Indy, if you are going to improve the joystick support in the NASSP settings, I would request that you also include support for rudder pedals if possible.
I ran into some issues with my joystick software after a windows update, had to update the joystick software and firmware, and now can't...
I'm going to try reinstalling Orbiter 2016 Beat and NASSP 8. Is the Sticky thread NASSP 8 Installation Guide in this forum the most up to date installation instructions?

Still no joy after...
Hi Tony,
I also have a HOTAS Warthog. Do you have rudder pedals?
I'm still in the process of getting everything setup correctly, but I used TARGET GUI software to get my rudder pedals to control the yaw. If you don't have pedals, you could probably use the grey lever on the HOTAS as the...
I do have Orbiter Sound 4.0 installed and activated. I do get some sounds, but I think they are all default Orbiter Sound sounds. I don't think I'm getting any NASSAP sounds.

Here is my Orbiter Sound log...
The 2nd attempt at launching Apollo 7 has been successful...I think:hmm:
The prelaunch checklists went much better this time around and I corrected a few items I did incorrectly the 1st attempt. However there are a couple of things that don't seem right, so I might have done something wrong...
Yes it appears the pedals were constantly commanding a yaw (I think) rotation. I started up the Apollo 11 #6 scenario (Before MCC-2) and as soon as I turned the pause off, the RCS started firing.
I made a quick program with my joystick software and it solved that problem by assigning the...
I do suspect that my joystick settings may be incorrect. My current settings and hardware are listed below. Any suggestions on what settings if different I should have for the joystick hardware I have?
My Hardware: Thrustmaster Hotus Warthodg and Thrustmaster rudder pedals. The Hotus...
Thanks for the info about the checklists, it's good to know to just wait until the checklist switches.
As for the latest NASSP/Orbiter Beta's. I installed both about 1-2 months ago from the latest builds at that time. I haven't checked since the installation if either has been updated. I...
Well the 1st attempt at launching Apollo 7 did not go to well.
Somewhere around T-20:00 as I was progressing through the checklist items, some of the items to perform looked familiar and not quite right. I looked up at the title of the checklist and realized I was working on the backup crew...
Thanks everyone for the help. I was reading the FDAI's incorrectly. I assumed the skewed FDAI's were a no power situation when in reality it was showing the current setting of the ASCP.
Now that I understand that correctly, I went back through all checklist items and noted that everything...
Thanks meik84.
I wouldn't be surprised that I did something wrong, but can't seem to figure out what. I checked through your list and everything was set as you listed it and I appear to have power. I will be gone for the weekend, but will try going through your list once again when I get back...
