missinterpretations apologies, you may have miss interpreted my english. Java has nothing to do with this. I wanted to know about compiling the C++ source to DLL in VS

what to do with VS comp I already have VisStudio, (student discount - only cost 1 (GBP)) how would i compile these, then - because i have tried recompiling java before but it will almost certainly produce errors as a result of missing some of the functions??

in orbit/orbitersdk/samples there is a load of C++ source code and headers, surely this game cannot be based entirely on source? will i be able to modify game play if i modify those headers? if not what other ways can i modify game play?

Does anyone know of a mac port for this game? Is it possible to run this game on a mac without windows compatibility layers or virtual box?

Every time i launch the space shuttle; i fly up nice and cleanly with the SRB's, but then when they are jettisoned, i have a problem; the main engines on the space shuttle don't seem to work, you can see blue jets out the back but i'm not sure if thats right? I have a laptop without the numerical keys (and no keyboard shortcuts, my laptop does NOT have the key's i need a real answer) so i have to plug in an external keyboard if i want to play orbiter. This is a shame because orbiter is THE perfect, light weight, portable simulation game that i hope...
