Yes it does work in 2016. Read this thread. You seem to be very quick to draw conclusions about alleged bugs and about things which don't work. I think it's better do spend a little more time before you do that.

No worries. As you are finding out, you sometimes have to collect the pieces to get something to work. Other add-ons indeed don't work in 2016. It's a bit of a puzzle sometimes. Therefore, it's important that the information we post is accurate.
