:hello:Hi folks! I'm fairly new to rockets and payloads and I'm still trying to grasp the concepts of it all. Recently I've been trying to add Pegasus Ares Lander by Francisdrake. http://http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2717[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2717"]http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2717 [/ame]as a payload to a Quasar440 HLV using Multistage2015. It has six different mesh files so I'm just referring to the first one in the INI file and using the "Live" command in the INI to use it as a live payload. Everything looks okay on the pad and during launch but when I try to jettison the lander after orbit insertion I get a CTD. The log says something about Mesh File Not Found so I'm amusing it has something to do with the mesh files?? All the payloads I've added prior, dead or alive have been fine but have only had one mesh file. Perhaps I'm going about adding this particular lander as a payload all wrong? Or maybe it can't be done? Any insight on this matter would be much appreciated.

My mistake. I realize now that the Francisdrake Ares lander is not compatible with Orbiter 2010P1. I'm still wondering though if there is a way to combine the meshes of the Ares in this version to launch as a dead payload. It too has six separate mesh files for the Ares lander. When I try to do it as a live payload the heat shield disappears snd chute snd gear deploy. I'm assuming because of the automated landing sequence.
