I have just picked up Orbiter & NASSP again after a few years of being too busy.

Firstly may I say the sim is looking great! Many thanks for your efforts.

I have jumped in with Apollo 10 as wanted to see what has changed, get the hang of things again.
However at the point of Transposition Docking & Extraction I can't seem to get the CSM LM to dock. Followed the checklist with docking probe extended, but just keep bouncing off!

Wondering if I may have missed something obvious.....

Many thanks,

Alex

Can you post your scenario? That will help figuring it out.

Thanks for getting back to me..

In an attempt to recreate the scenario I've inadvertently solved the problem!

Seems I was not operating the docking probe correctly.

Hello again,

I went over it again and I think my success with docking was a fluke:facepalm: ... I cannot achieve it a second time! Something definitely wrong with my setup.

Have attached my scenario a few seconds before impact.

Thanks a lot for your time!

Yep, it happens to me as well in your scenario.

Your docking probe switch is in the extend/release position. Which is weird, because it's a springloaded switch and can't stay on its own in that position. It can be forced to be held in that position in NASSP with Shift + pressing a button/switch, so you must have done that by accident or on purpose, but forgot to switch it to the center position again (Off). So that seems to be your problem, it is trying to immediately release the docking probe again upon docking. Just switch it to off for the docking and it works fine.
