ok so i am gonna be building my own computer. I will be buying everything from frys http://www.frys.com/ It has to be less than $1000 and needs at least 6 gigs ram and at least 500 gig hd, and everything has to be at my local frys my area code is 89141 its the only one in my city and state and ideas guys

Uhh...ahh...spaz out on the CPU, GPU, and power supply...that's all I got.

There is one on the home page for 999. When I have tried to build one myself from bits I have found that a shop deal often works out cheaper. Plus all the bits work together !!

Its just a matter of the proper haggling. I negotiated about 15% rebate on the parts for the last big update for my PC, which still meant a good deal for the local store.

And: If you are IT professional and once learned the whole hardware mess during your early days as apprentice, what you will buy will work together better than any mass system seller can afford. Often, you can find great CPU, memory and GPU in such a offer... but tied together with a low-cost mainboard. Thats like filling Diesel into the tanks of your Bugatti.

Really, opening a complete system for the first time can be quite surprising. Usually to the bad, but rarely you even find properly routed cables, proper cooler selections and even good HDD installations. But there are also many bad examples. From a "Brazil" like nightmare of cables hanging chaotically in your PC, to the opposite nightmare of tightly bonded cable trunks with about 3 cable binders per 10 cm segment (With the large cable trunk still interfering with the CPU cooler and picking up GPU vibrations), everything is possible.

uh ok
I think i am gonna go with the one one the front page for $999 but what about the screen now
But the thing is will i be able to upgrade it later on
