Hi!
Do you know of any formula that calculates the surface temperature depening on dynamic pressure and friction coefficient of materials mainly? I wasn't into physics in school and was not able to find anything usefull on the Internet.
I want to be able to read vessel temp similar to how the DG IV and XR1 do. I have this formula used by the XR1: Heat = 0.5 * p * v^3, (where p is atmospheric pressure and v velocity) but I have no idea how to use the result nor what exactly it is returning.
Thanks!
