Hello I recently downloaded the GlideSlope MFD and when I use it Orbiter crashes. I select the Glideslope MFD and when it opens is flits through a number of different ground bases and then orbiter crashes. Thank you

Just FYI I reinstalled the MFD so I know there is nothing wrong with the installation.

Are you using it with 2006 or 2010?

Never mind. Apparently it's working in 2010...

The Glideslope MFD crashes for me when used together with Shuttle Fleet in 2010. And it's not working great in 2010, the ribbon display has font issues. From what I understand, it was developed quite some time ago. It is somewhat usable for the XR2 perhaps, but would require customization for use with DGIV, as it has significantly different properties from the Space Shuttle or XR2, perhaps a lower ballistic coefficient being one of them.

Is it possible to customize the reference descent profile in a way other than recompiling the module?

Recently noticed that there are two versions of GlideslopeMFD. An older with a debug-line displayed and hard coded bases/runways and a newer (2009) without debug-line that rereads the cfg.

As far as i know the Shuttle Fleet alters the bases-configs on earth (otherwise AutoFCS wouldn't work). But i'm not familiar with the new (still beta?) versions of the Fleet yet, nor i have tested it yet.

In my Orbiter2010 installation (stock earth bases) GlideslopeMFD (ver2009 as currently provided by OrbitHangar) works fine.
OK, i'm using only the graphical displays - especially the HAC-Display - because the aerodynamic guidelines are hard coded for an older version of the shuttle (stock shuttle Orbiter2006, maybe?). So, that little display-glitch in Orbiter2010 doesn't bother me.

And it may help to set the MFD refresh in Lauchpad-Parameters to 0.25 or faster.

I had the same issues with this MFD in orbiter 2006 which is why I gave up with it and started experimenting with my own HAC MFD.

I use it with 2006...is there any other mfd that does the same activities...Thank You

GPCMFD (OPS3/OPS4) ;)

Isn't it part of the Shuttle Fleet Addon??
