It's a big first in FSX for me. Wish me luck! I've just taken off succesfully from Logan and am just off the coast, bound for Heathrow.

Turn back !!! One of the bags on board, was not properly screened .

I might try that in Orbiter, maybe the old style going the Lindenbergh route with the closest thing to the Spirit of St Louis the Cactus Kitten or would someone be intrested in making the Spirit of St Louis for me?

i hope your using concorde otherwise it gets really boring until your about 100 miles from ireland

I can fly that in 10 minutes...

I dont think suborbital space flight counts

I'm just about to break away from Canada. And P.S. I'm using a 747;)Look's like I'm sleeping in the computer room tonight!

why would you need to do that ? cant you just use auto pilot ?

So...many...controls. Too...complicated:crazy:

Well, my PC got pissy and decided to restart with no prevoction and no warning. So I guess this flight is cancled, seeing as I was more than an hour into it

I told you turn back. You must have been brought down, by an F-15.

777's are better for trans-Atlantic. :beach: I always use the 747's for the insanely long flights to Hawaii.

I flew the Spirit of St. Louis across the Atlantic and boy oh boy, it was exhausting.

I got tired, flying to St. Louis once, I thought my arms were gonna fall off.

Sorry, old joke.

I used to do the classic JFK -> Heathrow flight in FS2000 using a 747 all the time. Of course, I'd whip up the time compression once I cleared land and turned it back down after reaching the coast again. Oh, the good old days...
