We can't vote, but we can play games, for days...
I'm looking forward to downloading this, when I get home tonight. Just heard about it..
DX11 even? I can imagine, trying to find, the highest definition, in mods and best ones, is going to be.. fun..lol..

Thanks a bunch n nice to meet yas. :)

TYVM, that was fast. Must be quite a few people running around here. :).
Great to see it.. Means there must be, one hell of a community for this.
:hailprobe:

Any recommended "ultra" texture and "mega" mod packs?
I want all the best..lol..
I use to mod games before, I may of just found my new hobby. :)
I scripted for several games and did texture and 3-d modifying/modeling.
Love when a game gets me giddy and just looking at this, is making me all kinds of giddy..lol..

Welcome to the forum!

I think you'll find this a unique place; meaning all age groups, interests and nationalities. All meeting here because of a really cool (free) simulator.

Florida? We'll be at Busch Gardens here in a few days (love those coasters!).

Welcome! Also PhantomCruiser, are you planning to stop by KSC?

For recommended addons, I'd check out this page:

D3D11 is available for the latest Orbiter beta, in case you want to give it a try.

There's also a very good D3D9 client release candidate in the works that's available for the latest stable Orbiter release (v. 100830). Runs very well on Windows Vista and Windows 7, as well as XP.

Happy orbiting!

Oh, and Hail Probe!

You live in Florida? How far do you live from all the fun sightings of launches over there (at the cape)?

Too far unfortunately..lol.. I have seen them though and they are spectacular.
I am in south Florida. Broward county.

Nice, last time I went was when Kumba went up.. XD..
Been a while but it was a lot of fun even back then.

Thanks for all the help guys. I now have all the mods on the addon page for textures , space stations etc, and all the "necessities" as well.
Now I just have to actually learn, to fly the dang things..lol..

You guys have done one hell of a job with this so far.. Not that me saying that amounts to much, but my hat is off to yas. :)

PS: Know what's better than seeing a shuttle launch? Feeling it..
It is the most powerful thing, I have ever felt in my entire life..
It shakes the earth in a way, that humbles you instantly.. <3

I can tell you the same thing too. It's amazing.

I've been to STS-114, STS-124, STS-128, STS-135's launches and the feeling is incredible, you can feel it in your chest.
