Hello. I am trying to take my XR5 up into orbit and rendezvous with one of Greg Burch's "Airdock 2's", but it doesn't have any XPDR transmitters. I tried to go into the scenario file and add an XPDR frequency to the Airdock, but it didn't show up when I went back in. Also, the Airdock doesn't have any docking frequencies when I check the vehicle description in-game (with Ctrl-I).

So my question is, how am I actually supposed to find this thing in space? (I have aligned planes and synced orbits, and I am relatively close to it, I just don't have any Nav beacons to use...)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I suppose you're in visual distance doing prox ops. Use Docking MFD and select target manually. The VIS button does help if you can see the docking node of the target.

Yes, I am in visual distance, but sometimes I mess up a little bit and end up a few (~25 ;) ) km high...it seems that when I target the vessel manually that I don't get the nice box for the position of the vessel and it's velocity indicators on my HUD.

I have one solution, which is to dock a DG inside the airdock2, then use it's transponder to make my approach. I would rather have the option to not have a ship up there though...
