Gaming Hielor's Minecraft Server

If anyone was on the server just now and got disconnected, I had a temporary feline-caused network outage. Fixed now.

Your server fails to provide the proper function of the Internet as dictated by the feline overlords. Perhaps you should appease them by hosting cat videos, cat memes, and cheezburgers.

(I wish that change only applied to creative.)
To confuse you which button to press when you switch between survival and creative? I've always preferred right button, and wondered why people on their videos use left button (particles visible) to open doors and interact with other things. :P

Make the cat sysadmin...

I don't like fixing things that aren't broken. Left click was only a problem in creative. And left and right both worked in survival, so always right clicking if you chose to still worked.

Well now right click performs functions/constructs and left click is destructive, with most overlap removed.

... interaction works only with right click now. (I wish that change only applied to creative.)

Thanks ... that's actually a pretty cool change.

...joking aside, it's good to finally see you back from hiding, here hoping that you like the new look of the neighbourhood.

Thanks ... I not too sure what to think of that building across from the library. I was planing to put a nice fountain in there. LOL ... Who owns it?

A newcomer to the world by the name of Artlav, he came buzzing in out of nowhere and just start building /jk

Well yeah, it's Artlav, and it is supposed to look better than that in its finished version, hopefully.

You can look at the Witch House to see what a finished product by me looks like.
Meanwhile, the Delta Crateris is only about 25% done.

Hey, Artlav!

Do you have any plans for beneath your building? I'm asking because I'd like extend my library out underneath what would be your entrance.

Cheers

Nothing definite.
I expected to leave the undisturbed landscape in there, mildly inaccessible.
Maybe you can route an entrance to some secret library section from there.

Below the old ground levels i have no plans, but there is a lot of caves and creeper erosion in there.

Yes, everything i make has to have at least one secret door. =)

So then that pit beside your entrance at -152, 74, 391, I'd like to turn that into a fountain, as well as have some windows from a new wing of the library.

What would it look like?
Maybe we can integrate the two.

I've acquired my sheep. All need is a cow now. The contract is still out for 5 gold. Just place it in the cow pen and collect 5 gold from my house.

The next Minecraft version adds a new resource to the nether: quartz. Unfortunately, like all new resource additions, it won't be in the existing explored areas of the nether...which is quite a lot of it.

I was discussing this with Woo, and I have a bit of a proposal: another world on the server which is intended primarily for resource exploitation instead of building. People could go visit it, take what they need, bring it back to the normal world.

Kind of like Europe and America...

ANYWAY.

This world could be replaced whenever a major resource/terrain change happens, and we want to take advantage of it without losing all our work in the current world, and everyone would be warned that this is the case so nobody spends a bunch of time building something.

Or we could just do this on an as-needed basis.

What do people think?

On an entirely unrelated note, don't try to ride a boat through the stargate.

Me too.

What about access to it?
I think, given our theme and plenty of time till 1.5, that we should build a space station high above the city, and put the access to the resource world up there.

P.S.: If you tried to ride the boat through the gate, just disconnect and reconnect.

I think a large mining shaft would work better :P

Can we use mine carts through star gates?
