Internet LAX landing video

Very, very nice.
A good thing they put a proper camera on it. Those videos usually tend to be of subprime quality.

My guess is they used a Nice HD SLR with a 50mm f/1.4 lens, they have far superior low light capability, and a beautiful DOF on full frame sensors, producing better video, than "video" cameras. But pricey tough, you are looking at $1300 +

I have a Canon 60D, you can do some insane things with these cameras now.

There have been quite a few TV shows and even a Hollywood film that where recorded on HDSLR's.

I get to see this all the time :) Been in and out of LAX a lot lately. Of course I also get to land there when the visibility is 1/2 mile or less ;)

Try $370: he stated on the other (non-realtime) video that he used a Canon S95:

The camera was a Canon S95 which is a great pocket low light camera. This video simply wouldn't have been possible with any other pocket camera. If you want a great travel camera, be sure to check it out. $369 on Amazon.
