LRO / LCROSS

Is the remaining dV in the Centaur supposed to go below 50m/s after the spin-purge, because it is at 43m/s now and dropping slowly.

Even though it says "Spin/Purge finished"
2552, you have a problem! Try shutting down the main engine by pressing numpad * and turn off any autopilots (prograde/retrograde/etc).

WOW!!!

I just tried it - AWESOME add-on guys!

This will keep me entertained for a few days!:)

OK, I restarted from a pre-TLI quicksave and re-did the TLI, jettisonned LRO, then set the time to Now, which has LRO at an altitude of 20,000km. I'll wait until after that targetting burn to do the spin/purge and see if that happens again.

OK, I did the correction burn, then the spin/purge. It stopped at 50.02m/s!

Brian,
Another home run, right out of the park!!! Well done :D
On behalf of me and Chris, thanks! Hope you have some fun with it. We've put in a good few hours on this one, and learned an awful lot about the mission in the process.

PS the real fun starts when you try to put three spacecraft (LRO/LCROSS/Centaur) in one place (Cabeus, Moon S.Pole) at the same time (so that it's visible from Hawaii/USA West Coast). Good luck!

Time to get some kip.
Regards,
Brian

Well done to Chris as well!!! Hope you two decide to keep working on the upcoming Atlas V missions :D
