There is a developer designing a new Millennium Falcon, both exterior and interior modeling, for FSX. As this is a free model maybe one of the Orbiter
"pros" could talk to the developer and see if porting it over to Orbiter is possible.

Yes, when released, its being given away for free.
And the author seems to be amenable to exploring other options.

Well, then it might be one option as long as somebody could structure the meshgroups for Orbiter. After all, its no FSX. I doubt the author would want to do the work himself, but of course, asking him wouldn't be bad.

The author has a lot of work on his plate so it would need an Orbiter developer to port it over.

The author says he'll be finished in 4 - 6 weeks for FSX.
After that he'll talk about Orbiter.
