Advanced Question Outpost around Mars

I am looking for some help to build an outpost around Mars. I am look for a vehicle that allows me to launch either from Earth or Mars, (if launching from Mars, it has to originally launch from Earth, land on Mars, and then proceed with building the station) and to transport a crew to the station and then be able to return from the planet it came from (Mars or Earth). Also it has to be viably possible in "real-life", so no hyper spaceships!! :lol:

I am already thinking of using the Space Tugs addon for transporting equipment, and the Space Tankers addon for fuel, but need a way of initiating the project. My first thought for the first part of the station is the Zarya FGB, but this may change.

So, in summary, if launching from Earth, it:

1: Launches
2: deploys the first part of the station and then returns.

If launching from Mars:

1: Originally launches from earth (with or without any equipment)
2: Either waits for first piece of the station and fuel , and then deploys first part.
3: If it already has the first part, deploys it and then lands on Mars and wait for more fuel and more parts.

The problem is mainly finding a way of transporting the cargo and having enough fuel for a return trip. If anyone has any suggestions it will be greatly appreciated.
