General Question Positioning a launch craft properly

Lost somewhere in my mind
how would i go about making a ship sit up on the launch pad properly? the atlantis scenarios have it sitting up even off the ground a little bit over the pad. i want to do the same with the ocean class exploreur ship and use velcro rockets to strap insertion rockets to it.

EDIT: when i try to add it with the scenario editor orbiter crashes so i think i have to add it in the scenario file. what are the coordinates of the pad and what should the heading settings be on the exploreur ship? iv never placed one just using the scenario files before

this time i was able to add it with the scn editor but i still cant lift it off the ground up onto the pad. nor can i lift it up on its end cuz as soon as i change its orientation it gets set into orbit
 
The ship is not designed for standing on it's tail, it is not tail-sitter, like the Space Shuttle in it's launch configuration.

You can cheat around it by some Velcro rocket lines in the scenario, but I can't tell you the lines from work. It is mostly creating parallel stages for the boosters and make one of the boosters the primary vessel. Then you fit the touchdown points to it.
 
So use a rocket or tank as the primary vessal and strap the exploreur to it as a velcro rocket? doesnt sound too hard.

just a thought. could i have the boosters sit farther back than the main engines and have them sit on the ground like a tail landers' gear? not sure if orbiter would detect them on the ground or just have them fall through though. worth a shot.

wierd crash. the first few times it worked but now anytime i do a repair EVA and click display target orbiter crashes. i copied mmu.dds and mmu2.dds and renamed them to U_mmu.dds and U_mmu2.dds mut it seems to have no effect since the crash log still says they are missing. am i supposed to put them in a different folder or something? im so confused lol
