red dwarf add on

hi does anybody know if there will be a red dwarf add on feature to orbiter because that would be so amazing if that would happen

i haven't seen 1 avalible yet

That can be done by replacing the default Sun texture (Textures/star.dds) with one that looks like a red dwarf. [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1078"]MSSS MFD[/ame] comes with a few different star textures for its different solar systems, but not a red dwarf. I don't know if a red dwarf texture exists though.

I don't remember seeing one. I was a fan of the show many (many?) years ago, and it never occcured to me to look for them.
There's plenty of talent here to knock one together for you (if you ask in the add-on request section of the forum), but also, you could try working one yourself up using anim8tor (or wings3d or whatever).
I'm trying my hand at some of the craft from the Wing Commander games, I'll probably never release them, but I'm learning to make my own meshes, plus texturing, plus spacecraft 3/multistage etc... It's not all that difficult, so jump in and start developing!
Search around and find some of the tutorials, plus some common questions that are here on the forum. If you find yourself totally stumped, ask away. There are plenty of guys here that'll point you in the right direction, so long as you ask good questions.

Not directly, you'll first have to save it as a .3ds file, then convert it using 3DS2msh. Do a search for it at OrbitHanger, you'll need to get to vinkas website to get it though (the url can be found at the 'hanger).
